What participation requirements do I need to have in order to qualify as a group?
You need only 3 participating employees to qualify as a group.
This makes it easy to obtain the necessary participation if you offer the program.
Most dental plans require some participation percentage among the employees in order to qualify as a group. This requirement can be hard to meet unless the employer is paying for it.
The CAREINGTON program can be a voluntary or partial voluntary program depending on what you, the employer decides. Some employers provide the CAREINGTON program as a non-contributory benefit; this is perceived to carry great value by the employees but is affordable to many employers.
We strive to make the CAREINGTON Dental Program as easy and uncomplicated as possible for the employer.
Who can be an eligible employee?
An eligible employee can include full or part time employees. CAREINGTON allows you, the employer to define eligibility requirements.

What does it cost the company to have this program?

How do I sign up my employees?
Complete the group contract and have your employees complete the applications. Include the first month’s premium with the applications.
How can I see if my employees would be interested in the CAREINGTON Program?

We have prepared a survey that you can print, copy and circulate among your employees. If you require a copy of the survey please let us know and we will email it to you.
What am I committing to as a company?
There is no company commitment when you offer the CAREINGTON dental program to your employees.
There is a group agreement that does need to be completed and signed. This agreement informs us of eligibility and provides your company with a 12 month rate guarantee. Additionally, there is no processing fee on group applications.
What are my employees committing to?
We do not require your employees to commit to stay on the program for any time period. However, most HR departments require an employee to commit to a 12 month period. This eliminates people “coming in” and “going out” of the program and causing administrative burdens.
Further, if your company utilizes a section 125 and elects to include this plan, federal law requires only annual employee changes.
Do we have to offer this as a payroll deduction program?
No. You can have employees complete individual applications and pay directly…………
But ……… you lose the perceived idea of offering a dental program through your company.
Also, your employees will have to pay a higher monthly membership fee as well as a one time processing fee of $20.00.
